children—Sarah, Michael, Kerry, and Adam.
She and her
husband Chris have been married for over 20 years and live in

may claim authorship to part of the book but cannot prove it.)
While Connie has a degree in finance and an MBA specializing in small business, her first loves have always been writing, teaching, and history. She was first professionally published at 16 as a youth reporter for the Richmond News Leader (now merged with the Richmond Times Dispatch.) She was formerly a docent at Berkeley Plantation on the James River and now leads a children’s writing group.
